Aralia, November 4, 2024: A one-day administrative and health camp was organized today at the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya premises in Aralia by the West Tripura District Administration. The camp provided various administrative and healthcare services, and the event was inaugurated by Dr. Pradip Kumar Chakraborty, Secretary to the Chief Minister. At the opening of the Rajyoga spiritual exhibition, Dr. Chakraborty said, “Spirituality brings peace, simplicity, and serenity to the mind. Engaging in spirituality is essential for solving life’s challenges.”
During the camp, applications were received for 113 PRTC certificates, 20 SC certificates, 7 OBC certificates, and 5 marriage registrations. Additionally, 11 income certificates were issued, and 5 Aadhaar cards were updated. Two exhibition stalls were set up by the Tripura State Rifles (TSR) Second Battalion and the Sadar Subdivision Disaster Management Authority.
In the health camp, treatment was provided to more than 300 patients, who also received free medication. The Animal Resource Development Department distributed free medicines for over 100 sick livestock.
Dr. Vishal Kumar, District Magistrate of West Tripura, praised the management of the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya for hosting the event. Jonali Behnji, Director of Brahma Kumaris for the Northeast region and Bangladesh, shared that the de-addiction initiative would be extended to schools and colleges in the coming days. The event was also attended by Transport Department Commissioner Subrata Chowdhury, Joint Director of the Social Welfare and Social Education Department Dr. Chandrani Biswas, Sadar Subdivision Magistrate Maniklal Das, and Brahma Kumaris’ coordinator Mamata Behnji.
