North District, October 24: A T-Three camp was conducted on October 23 at Lalchhara Higher Secondary School under the Latugaon Ayushman Arogya Mandir of the Uptakhali Primary Health Center. Blood hemoglobin levels of 50 students 27 girls and 23 boys were tested at the camp.
Community Health Officer Arpita Dey led an awareness session covering topics such as symptoms, treatment, and prevention of diarrhea, malaria, and tuberculosis; the importance of using medicated mosquito nets; vaccination benefits; and the role of a diet rich in protein, calcium, carbohydrates, zinc, iodine, and iron. Health worker Bishwa Jeet Mallik provided additional health screenings and discussed various health-related issues. The camp was attended by ASHA worker Rikta Deb and school teachers.
On the same day, a T-Three camp was also organized at Krishnapur Higher Secondary School, with a total of 76 students participating in hemoglobin screening. Community Health Officer Sagar Sarkar conducted awareness sessions focusing on adolescent health.
