Agartala , 9 October 2024: The Mayer Gomon-2024 program is set to take place on October 14, 2024, in front of Maharani Tulsivati Girls High School, starting at 5 pm. Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha will inaugurate the event, which celebrates the traditional ceremony marking the conclusion of Durga Puja.
The event will see the presence of prominent guests, including Finance Minister Pranajit Singharoy, Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, People’s Welfare Minister Bikas Debbarma, Scheduled Castes Welfare Minister Sudhanshu Das, and Cooperatives Minister Shuklacharan Noyatia. Also attending will be Minister of State for Industries and Commerce Brishketu Debbarma.
As a special guest, MP Biplab Kumar Deb is expected to attend, while Mayor of Agartala Pur Nigam and MLA Deepak Majumder, West Tripura Zilla Parishad President Balai Goswami, Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan, and Information and Culture Department Secretary P.K. Chakraborty will also be present.
The Department of Information and Culture has extended an open invitation to the public to participate in this significant cultural event, emphasizing its importance in marking the ceremonial farewell to Goddess Durga.
