Agartala, 3rd, October 2024: Agartala Railway Station Police have arrested another Indian national linked to human trafficking from Bangladesh. Acting on a tip-off, the police detained the accused from the Matinagar area earlier today.
It is reported that the individual was involved in smuggling Bangladeshi citizens into India and dispatching them to various locations across the country.
The arrest took place in the early hours of the morning at Matinagar, Gilamura. With the assistance of the BSF and Sonamura Police Station, Agartala GRP police apprehended Nazmul Hossain (19) in connection with a case related to human trafficking.
His residence is located near the border fencing in Matinagar, Gilamura, under the jurisdiction of Sonamura Police Station in Sepahijala District, Tripura.
