Agartala, September 21: Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu, during the 19th convocation ceremony of ICFAI University, emphasized that education is the most powerful tool for shaping the lives of students. He further stated that India, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Viksit Bharat’ mission, is on the path to becoming a superpower in education. According to the Governor, education should not only enhance knowledge and excellence but also prepare students to contribute to the nation’s progress and welfare.

While inaugurating the ceremony, held this afternoon, the Governor expressed his hopes that ICFAI University would emerge as a significant institution in higher education. He further added that the university would play a pivotal role in the development of the Northeast region and the nation.

Professor Dr. P.G. Sitaram, Chairman of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), was the chief guest of the event and delivered a speech. The Vice Chancellor of ICFAI University, Professor Dr. Biplab Haldar, presented the university’s report, while the Registrar, Dr. A. Ranganath, concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
