Agartala, September 9: The 13th convocation of Tripura University was inaugurated by Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu at the Maharaja Bir Bikram Auditorium. During his address, the Governor highlighted the significant changes in global education systems, emphasizing the need for modern educational approaches in light of increased artificial intelligence usage.
He urged students to contribute to the welfare of marginalized communities, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047. The Governor stressed that university students have a crucial role to play in this national development effort.
At the ceremony, medals and certificates were awarded to 163 students. The Governor presented medals and certificates to postgraduate students, while undergraduate medals were distributed by Tripura University Chancellor Ahmed Javed, and PhD certificates were given by Tripura Central University Vice-Chancellor Professor Gangaprasad Prasain.
