Narsingarh, August 10, 2024: Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan (BTVM) held a special Felicitation Programme on Saturday to honor students from Nursery to Class III for their exceptional academic achievements. The event also recognized students from Nursery to Class V who maintained 100% attendance throughout the academic year.
The ceremony was inaugurated by Smt. Swapna Shome, Principal of BTVM, who extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guest, Dr. Rabindra Kumar Datta. Dr. Datta, a retired professor from the Department of Bengali, a renowned writer, linguist, and the current President of Bangla Academy in Agartala, shared his words of wisdom with the audience. He commended the school for organizing such an event, which he believed would inspire students to reach new heights of success.
The programme was presided over by Shri Debashis Chakraborty, Retired IFS and Chairman of Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Agartala Kendra. It began with a welcome note from the Principal, followed by vibrant cultural performances that added a splash of color to the day.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Smt. Pompi Majumdar, Headmistress of BTVM. The programme ended on a joyful note, with a strong emphasis on the collaboration between parents, teachers, and staff that made the event a resounding success.
