Agartala, April 04, 2024: Today Thursday, an Election Review Meeting was held in preparation for the Lok Sabha Elections at New Town Hall in Bishalgarh. On this occasion, a public meeting was held under the chairmanship of State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Puneet Agarwal.
In the meeting, the CEOs concerned were called upon for proper and timely implementation and observance of all electoral guidelines including MMCC for conducting fair elections. The meeting was discussed by the State Police Nodal Officer. GS Rao, CRPF IG DL Gola and others. The meeting was attended by all the Sector Officers, AROs, officials of various departments engaged in election work among others.
On the other hand, an exercise was held today at Khowai Government Class XII School with poll workers in charge of polling for 2-Tripura East (ST) Parliamentary Constituency. In this exercise, 12 master trainers have been trained on how to complete the polling phase. Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Khoai sub-division and 2-Tripura East (ST) Parliamentary Constituency ARO Megha Jain, ARO Parimal Majumdar, ARO Keshav Kar and others were present in this event. 215 Presiding Officers and 237 First Polling Officers participated in this exercise.
