Agartala, March 8, 2025: The 73rd B.N. Mullik Memorial All India Police Football Championship concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony at Umakanta Stadium on March 7, 2025. The winners in both the men’s and women’s categories were felicitated by Tripura Director General of Police (DGP) Amitabh Ranjan, who presented trophies to the champion, runner-up, and third-place teams. The event was attended by DGP (Intelligence) Anurag Dhankar, ADG G.S. Rao, and other senior police officials. In his address, DGP Amitabh Ranjan expressed gratitude to all participating teams and emphasized the importance of such tournaments in fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship among police forces.

He also congratulated all stakeholders for successfully organizing the tournament in Tripura for the first time. In the women’s category, SSB emerged as champions, while Assam Rifles secured the runner-up position, and Odisha Police finished third. In the men’s category, CISF clinched the championship, with BSF as runners-up, and CRPF securing third place.
Following the award ceremony, jawans from the Tripura State Rifles (TSR) and KTD Singh Police Training Academy performed a band display, adding to the festive atmosphere. The event concluded with an exhibition football match between the All India Police team and CRPF at Umakanta Stadium.
