Agartala, March 6, 2025: Finance Minister Pranajit Singh Roy today participated in a crucial budget planning discussion at the Secretariat in preparation for the upcoming Budget Session. The discussion centered on the Revised Estimates for 2024-25 and Budget Estimates for 2025-26, marking a significant
step in shaping Tripura’s financial roadmap. Industries & Commerce, Home (Jail), and OBC Welfare Minister Santana Chakma was also present at the meeting, along with senior officials from the concerned departments. Meanwhile, exercising the powers under Article 174(1) of the Indian Constitution, Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu has convened the seventh session of the 13th Tripura Legislative Assembly.


The session is scheduled to begin on March 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Assembly Building in the New Capital Complex. The upcoming Tripura Budget 2025-26 is expected to focus on economic growth, infrastructure development, and social welfare, aligning with the state’s long-term development goals.
