Tripura 20 Jan, 2025: On the occasion of Tripura Statehood Day 2025, observed on January 21, Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the people of Tripura. In his message, the Governor stated, “Tripura attained full statehood on January 21, 1972, under the North-Eastern Areas (Reorganization) Act, 1971. I respectfully remember the contributions of all the leaders who played a significant role in facilitating the state’s formation. I sincerely thank the citizens, brave warriors, students, youth, police, military, paramilitary forces, and officials and staff of the central and state governments for their support and cooperation in advancing Tripura.”
The Governor also emphasized the importance of using this special day to pledge collective efforts for the prosperity and welfare of the state. He called on everyone to unite, celebrating Tripura’s diversity and working towards a brighter future.
