Kailashahar, 18 May 2026 – Anupam Pal: Alleging irregularities in the publication of examination results, mark discrepancies, and delays in online result uploads by Tripura University, the Ramakrishna Mahavidyalaya unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad organized a protest demonstration on Monday at Ramakrishna Mahavidyalaya. Hundreds of students gathered in front of the office chamber of college principal Ajit Barman and participated in the protest.
During the demonstration, students raised slogans against Tripura University’s acting Vice-Chancellor Shyamal Das and burned his effigy. Among those present at the movement were college secretary Pramatosh Pal, ABVP city secretary Sneha Sutradhar, Unakoti division coordinator Anup Majumdar and other leaders of the organization.
ABVP student leader Ankan Pal alleged that many students were unfairly shown “back papers” in their results despite performing well in examinations. He warned that if the issues are not resolved within the next 15 days, ABVP will launch a larger movement.
