Ambassa, July 23, 2025: A shocking incident of domestic violence shook the Dulubari Kekmachhra area under Ambassa sub-division this afternoon. A man named Jatan Debbarma allegedly attacked his wife, Alomoy Mog, with a sharp machete, leaving her critically injured. Acting swiftly, police arrested the accused husband shortly after the incident.
According to local sources, the assault stemmed from a domestic dispute. Following the brutal attack, the Fire & Emergency Services were immediately informed. Responders quickly reached the scene and rushed the injured woman to Kulai Hospital in Dhalai district, where she is currently undergoing treatment.
