Agartala, July 21: In a pioneering move from the Northeast, Tripura’s very own Aditya Chakma has launched Devita, the state’s first homegrown perfume start-up marking a bold and fragrant leap into India’s premium fragrance industry.
Founded without any external funding, Devlta is a reflection of Aditya’s unwavering determination and entrepreneurial spirit. What began as a personal passion has now evolved into Tripura’s debut in the luxury perfume space a venture rooted in identity, vision, and global ambition.

“This is not just a business,” says Aditya Chakma. “It’s a journey of representing Tripura on a bigger canvas. We’re creating something world-class, designed, formulated, and marketed right from the Northeast.”
Unlike mass-produced perfumes, Devlta focuses on quality, elegance, and storytelling aiming to redefine Indian luxury fragrance by blending tradition with modern aesthetics. The start-up is entirely self-funded, with every aspect from scent development to branding carefully curated by the founder himself.
The launch of Devlta also marks an inspiring shift in Tripura’s start-up culture, signaling that big dreams can indeed rise from small towns, driven by passion and belief.
