Tripura, 05 Oct 2026: Tipra Motha secured control of 10 of the 12 Village Committees under Matabari RD Block in the Village Committee elections, while the remaining two went to the BJP.
The Garji ADC Village Committee emerged as a notable result, with Tipra Motha winning five of its seven seats and the BJP securing the remaining two. The seven seats witnessed a three-way contest, but candidates from other parties failed to make an impact.
After the victory, Tipra Motha’s winning candidates said the party would make every effort to ensure development reaches all sections of the village population, including those at the grassroots level.
They also sought the cooperation, support and goodwill of the villagers for carrying forward development activities in the coming days.
The victorious Tipra Motha candidates were seen celebrating the results with enthusiasm following their success.
