Agartala, September 23, 2026: Tripura Gramin Bank will remain fully operational on Sunday, September 27, 2026, to ensure uninterrupted banking services and convenience for customers.
The decision comes following the Government of India’s announcement that Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) will function normally on Sunday, September 27, ahead of the proposed three-day nationwide bank strike scheduled from September 28 to 30.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has also approved the continued functioning of bank branches, offices, ATM-linked branches and Currency Chests on September 27 to facilitate essential banking operations before the strike period.
Accordingly, all Tripura Gramin Bank branches and offices will remain operational on Sunday, September 27, allowing customers to access essential banking services and complete their banking requirements.
The bank said the special arrangement is aimed at ensuring continuity of banking services and minimising inconvenience to customers during the period when regular banking operations may be affected.
