Agartala: Aug 27: Rupaichari RD Block has launched a dedicated website to bring multiple government services closer to residents, enabling them to submit complaints, apply for selected services and order products online from home.
The initiative aims to reduce the gap between the administration and the public by bringing several citizen-centric services under a single digital platform. Block Development Officer Pritam Debnath said the initiative was launched in line with the Government of India’s Digital India vision.
One of the key features is “Click for Cleanliness,” which allows residents to upload photographs and locations of areas where plastic or garbage has accumulated. The information will reach the administration, enabling necessary cleanliness measures to be taken.
The website also integrates the “E-Panch Connect” service, which was previously available through a QR-code-based system. Residents can now apply online for selected services and receive the required certificates digitally.
Initially, Rupaichhari Panchayat Village Committee has been selected as a pilot project among the block’s 18 Village Committees.
The platform also enables online ordering of products from various TLM units, food supplements and other items. Residents can additionally submit feedback and opinions through the website.
Debnath urged residents to use the digital platform to access government services more conveniently.
