Tripura, 27 July 2026: A group of candidates who appeared for the Community Health Officer (CHO) recruitment examination under the National Health Mission (NHM) has approached the SOFED authority, alleging that the examination question paper was leaked.
According to the aspirants, the recruitment notification was issued on May 17, 2025, while the written examination was conducted on February 1, 2026. They said the results were declared on July 15, 2026, and they allegedly obtained evidence of a question paper leak through social media on July 17.
The candidates claimed they had previously submitted their concerns and supporting evidence to NHM officials but alleged that no action or response had been received. Despite raising the issue through a protest on July 20, they said the recruitment process continued, including interviews.
Seeking an impartial inquiry, the aspirants have now approached the SOFED authority, urging officials to investigate the alleged paper leak, examine the evidence they claim to possess, and ensure transparency and fairness in the CHO recruitment process.
The allegations have been made by the candidates. No official response from NHM or the concerned authorities was available at the time of reporting.
