Agartala, July 26: Future Falcons Welfare Society successfully organised a voluntary blood donation camp at the IMA House in Agartala on Sunday with the aim of supporting patients in need of timely blood transfusions.
The initiative was launched to help ensure that no patient is deprived of life-saving treatment due to a shortage of blood. The event witnessed the participation of several voluntary blood donors and community members, highlighting the growing spirit of social responsibility.
State Minister Sushanta Chowdhury was scheduled to attend the programme as the chief guest. However, he could not be present due to unavoidable official commitments. The organisers conveyed their sincere gratitude and best wishes to the minister for his support.
The entire blood collection process was carried out by the experienced medical team from IGM Hospital, ensuring that all donations were conducted safely and efficiently.
Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh Das, General Secretary of Future Falcons Welfare Society, said, “The primary objective of this blood donation camp is to ensure that no one is denied medical treatment due to a lack of blood. In the coming days, our organisation will continue to organise regular blood donation camps and various social welfare initiatives. Standing beside people in times of need remains our commitment.”
The organisation also expressed heartfelt appreciation to all voluntary blood donors, the IGM Hospital medical team, volunteers, and supporters whose contributions made the event a success.
