Agartala, July 20: The Tripura Government has announced a one-day State Mourning across the state on July 21 as a mark of respect to the memory of the late Director General of Police (DGP), Anurag Dhankar.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), the National Flag will be flown at half-mast on all government buildings across the state where it is regularly hoisted.
The government has also directed that no official entertainment programmes will be held during the period of mourning.
The decision has been taken to pay tribute to the late DGP and honour his service to the state.
