Khumulwng, April 20: The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected Members of District Council (MDCs) of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) is scheduled to be held on April 27 at Khumulwng, officials said.
The oath of office will be administered by the Law Secretary with the approval of the Governor.
Following the ceremony, the first meeting of the newly constituted council will take place at 11:00 AM on the same day, in accordance with the Governor’s directive.
The event is likely to witness the presence of Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman along with other senior leaders of Tipra Motha.
Meanwhile, sources indicate that the election of the Chairman, Chief Executive Member (CEM), and Executive Members (EMs) is expected to be completed in the first week of May, along with their oath-taking.
