Agartala: Dec 22. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Teliamura Primary Marketing Cooperative Society Limited was held today at the Ashwini Kumar Ghosh Smriti Community Hall, Netajinagar, Teliamura, with Cooperation Minister Shukla Charan Noatia inaugurating the programme.
Addressing the gathering, the minister Noatia highlighted how the present state government is committed to development with a people-centric approach and is strengthening livelihoods through the cooperative movement.
He said cooperatives play a crucial role in empowering people economically and expressed optimism that, with collective cooperation, the state would witness further growth through cooperatives and allied initiatives.

Chief Whip and MLA Kalyani Saha Roy, who attended as a special guest, also spoke on the government’s developmental initiatives and elaborated on the importance of cooperatives in grassroots economic development.
During the AGM, the society’s manager presented a detailed account of income and expenditure for the past year, along with highlighting the future plans and programmes of the cooperative.
Among others present at the event were Municipal Council Chairman Rupak Sarkar, social worker Achintya Bhattacharjee, Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Dipa Deb, Gopal Barman, Cooperative Society Chairman Nitin Saha, and Manager Sameer Bhattacharjee, along with several other dignitaries.
