Agartala: Dec 22. A one-day mega administrative and medical camp was organised today at the Bargul Gram Panchayat premises under the Kadamtala Assembly constituency here, as part of the ‘Gaon Ki Dwar’ programme during Good Governance Week.
The camp witnessed the participation of multiple government departments, which set up dedicated stalls to provide essential services to the public. Certificates related to ST, SC, PRTC, income and disability were issued on the spot, ensuring hassle-free access for local residents.
In addition to administrative services, free medical check-ups were conducted by experienced doctors, and necessary medicines were distributed to patients without cost.
Residents of the area expressed satisfaction over receiving a wide range of government services under one roof, describing the initiative as citizen-friendly and effective.
Speaking on the occasion, DCM Karjoram Reang stated that the objective of the programme is to bring government services directly to the doorsteps of people, making governance more accessible and transparent, especially during Good Governance Week.
