Tripura, Dec 3: A devastating accident on the Jolai Bari–Belonia route left three persons dead after two motorcycles collided violently at the West Jolai Bari road point. The impact was so severe that all three riders involved in the crash lost their lives.
The victims were identified as 21-year-old Mukesh Tripura, his pillion rider Priyanshu Dutta (21), and 53-year-old Biplab Shil Sharma, who was riding the other bike. Local residents rushed to the spot and informed authorities, but the victims could not be saved due to the extent of their injuries.
The bodies have been shifted to the Jolai Bari Health Centre morgue for necessary procedures. Police are probing the circumstances that led to the fatal collision.
