Agartala: Nov 12. Tripura has added yet another milestone to its growth story, clinching the Top Achiever Award in two key business-centric reform categories under the Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) 2024 Business Entry and Labour Regulation Enablers.
The recognition was presented at the Udyog Samagam 2025 in New Delhi, where Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Piyush Goyal, handed over the award to Tripura’s Industries & Commerce Minister, Santana Chakma.
This national honour underscores the state’s growing investor confidence and its emergence as a reform-driven destination for business and industry. Over the past year, Tripura has intensified its efforts to simplify regulations, improve ease of doing business, and promote digital governance in industrial processes.
Backed by these reforms, the state has already signed MoUs worth over ₹15,000 crore across crucial sectors including industry, health, education, IT, power, and tourism signaling strong investor momentum and economic optimism.
Officials hailed the achievement as a collective success of Team Tripura, whose continuous push for business-friendly governance and transparent policies has brought the northeastern state into the national spotlight.
