Jalandhar, Sept 13, 2025: The Tripura Students’ Association Jalandhar (TSAJ) has elected a new Executive Committee for the term 2025–26 during its annual general meeting held at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, on September 12.
The newly formed committee, representing students from Tripura pursuing higher education in Jalandhar, pledged to promote cultural identity, academic collaboration, and student welfare while strengthening solidarity among the community.
The elected office-bearers are:
- President: Raya Debbarma
- Vice President: Salka Kalai
- General Secretary: Agun Tripura
- Assistant General Secretary: Imran Hussain
- Finance Secretary: Elemi Tripura
- Assistant Finance Secretary: Jishan Farib
- Women Secretary: Suniya Debbarma
- Sports Secretary: Bahai Jamatia
- Assistant Sports Secretary: Hridhai Kumar Jamatia
- Media & Publicity Secretary: Projjal Chakma
- Cultural Secretary: Radhika Debbarma
- Assistant Cultural Secretary: Avid Debbarma
- Information & Database Secretary: Arijit Debnath
Newly elected President Raya Debbarma expressed gratitude and reaffirmed the association’s vision:
“TSAJ has always stood as a platform of unity, progress, and cultural pride for Tripura students in Jalandhar. Our team is determined to continue this legacy by organizing meaningful initiatives, ensuring student welfare, and celebrating our rich traditions.”
The TSAJ announced plans to host Freshers’ Day celebrations, cultural festivals, academic workshops, sports events, and welfare programs in the upcoming year to enhance student engagement.
The association also extended appreciation to the outgoing committee for their contribution and leadership over the past year.
Founded as a student-led body, TSAJ continues to serve as a vibrant platform for Tripura students in Jalandhar, fostering cultural preservation, academic growth, and community bonding.
