Gujarat, 12 Sep 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha attended the 2nd International and 22nd National Indian Association of Forensic Odontology Conference at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Addressing distinguished delegates from across India and abroad, Dr. Saha highlighted that with changing times, the nature of crime is also evolving, making it imperative to strengthen the pool of forensic experts and upgrade the required infrastructure.
Emphasizing the importance of forensic odontology, he said it plays a vital role in supporting investigations and ensuring justice.
On this occasion, Dr. Saha also urged the Vice-Chancellor of NFSU, Gandhinagar to introduce a two-year M.Sc course in Forensic Odontology at NFSU, Tripura. He said the initiative would expand opportunities and expertise in the North-Eastern region.
