Agartala, September 4, 2025: Every year, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) observes Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday with service-oriented initiatives. Marking the Prime Minister’s 75th birth anniversary this year, the Tripura unit of BJP has announced a series of special programs to be held from September 17 to October 2. These include cleanliness drives under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, blood donation camps, tree plantation, and other community service activities.
On Thursday, the state BJP office hosted the Seva Pakhwada State Workshop 2025 to plan the programs. The event was attended by Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, BJP State President and MP Rajib Bhattacharjee, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, BJP General Secretary (Organization) for Assam and Tripura, Ravindra Raju, along with several party leaders and workers.
Speaking at the workshop, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said, “On September 17, our beloved Prime Minister Narendra Modi will celebrate his birthday. But the BJP observes it differently – as a day of service. This year is even more special as Modi ji enters his 75th year. From September 17 to October 2, we will organize a variety of programs highlighting his contributions, from his early life to his years as Gujarat Chief Minister, and his work for the nation. On September 25, we will also commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and on October 2, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, which will mark the conclusion of Seva Pakhwada.”
Tripura BJP President and MP Rajib Bhattacharjee added, “As you all know, on September 17 we celebrate the birthday of our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. This year, under the direction of our central leadership, we will observe Seva Pakhwada until October 2. The purpose of these service activities from blood donation and plantation drives to outreach programs is to strengthen our organization and take the message of service to every booth level.”
The BJP leadership emphasized that the initiatives aim to connect with common people and spread the values of service, in line with the Prime Minister’s vision.
