Agartala, April 29, 2025: Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir, Agartala Kendra, held an Initiation Programme to warmly welcome students from Nursery to Class 2 into the new academic session. The event aimed at helping the young learners familiarize themselves with the school environment in a joyous and nurturing setting.
The ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Ms. Piyamadhuri Majumdar, Superintendent of Police, Tripura Police Crime Branch, and the Guest of Honour, Sri Biplab Debnath, Gaon Pradhan of Narsingarh Panchayat. The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp and floral tribute to Kulapati Dr. K.M. Munshi, followed by a formal welcome of the distinguished guests.


In her address, Principal Smt. Swapna Shome emphasized the importance of holistic development and encouraged students to grow both academically and creatively.
A captivating cultural performance by the students added a cheerful charm to the event, showcasing their talents and confidence. Presiding over the programme, Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Agartala Kendra, Sri Debashis Chakraborty (Retd. IFS), extended a heartfelt welcome to the young learners.
He inspired them to begin their educational journey with curiosity, joy, and compassion, expressing hope that their time at the institution would be full of discovery and growth. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Headmistress Mrs. Pompi Majumdar, marking a promising start to the new academic year.
