Tripura, 26 April 2025: To ensure smooth conduct of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) examinations, Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, will be enforced around exam centers in Teliamura subdivision on April 27 and May 4.
The TET Paper-1 and Paper-2 exams, conducted by the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT), will be held from 12 noon to 2:30 PM at nine educational institutions, including Vivekananda Higher Secondary School, Maiganga Sukanta Higher Secondary School, PM-Shri Mohrchhara Higher Secondary School, and others. According to an official order issued by the Teliamura Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), no unauthorized individual will be allowed to enter the examination centers without prior permission from the competent authority.
Only TRBT officials, examination staff, designated administrative officers, and security personnel engaged in law and order duties will have access. The order also prohibits gathering of five or more persons within 200 meters of the centers during examination hours.
Use of loudspeakers and carrying of sharp weapons or sticks by civilians inside or near the centers will be strictly forbidden, except for authorized security personnel. The restrictions will be in force on both exam dates, from 12 noon to 2:30 PM.
The SDM’s office has appealed for public cooperation to maintain discipline and a peaceful environment during the examinations.
