Tripura, 25 April 2025: In recognition of their outstanding service and contributions in Tripura, a Unit Appreciation Program was held this evening at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan. The event was inaugurated by Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu. In his address, Governor Reddy referred to the recent tragic incident in Pahalgam, Kashmir, emphasizing that national security can be challenged at any time. He called upon every soldier and citizen to remain vigilant in safeguarding the nation.


Highlighting the importance of the youth, he stated that NCC cadets represent the future of India and expressed hope that they will lead the country to new heights. During the ceremony, the Governor presented Unit Appreciation Letters to the 305 Field Regiment of the Indian Army, the 28 Battalion of Assam Rifles, and officers of the Northeast Region and Tripura wing of the NCC.
The event also featured speeches by Brigadier Manish Rana of 21 Sector Assam Rifles, Brigadier Dinesh Panda, Commander of the 57 Artillery Brigade, and Brigadier Kapil Sood, Group Commander of NCC Silchar.
The welcome address was delivered by Uttam Kumar Chakma, Secretary to the Governor. The program was organized by Raj Bhavan.
