State-Level Sangrai Festival Concludes Government Committed to Promoting Language, Culture, and Education: Cooperative Minister
Tripura, 18 April 2025: The state government is committed to the inclusive development of all communities while also working towards the promotion of language, culture, and education in Tripura. Various initiatives are being implemented to improve the socio-economic conditions of the people. A peaceful and harmonious environment is essential to continue the momentum of development, and to maintain this, the path shown by Lord Buddha must be followed.

This was stated by Cooperative Minister Sukla Charan Noatia during the closing ceremony of the two-day 8th State-Level Sangrai Festival held yesterday at the Deodar Mahamuni Buddha Vihar premises in Santirbazar.
Suhel Debbarma, Executive Member of the ADC, also addressed the gathering. Other speakers included Buddhist monk Chainda Wainza Mahathero, MDC Debajit Tripura, and noted social worker Gaurab Mog Choudhury.
The event was presided over by Kongdari Mog Choudhury, President of the Mog Socio-Cultural Central Committee. Various government departments set up exhibition stalls as part of the celebrations.
The Department of Information and Cultural Affairs also organized two days of cultural programs to mark the occasion.
