CM Inaugurates Multiple Development Projects at Kalyanpur HS School
Tripura, 12 April 2025: Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha emphasized the state government’s commitment to development under the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, aiming to build Ek Tripura, Shreshtha Tripura. Speaking at an event at Kalyanpur Higher Secondary School on 11 April, where he inaugurated a newly constructed two-storey school building, the Chief Minister highlighted the government’s proactive and people-centric approach.
Dr. Saha also flagged off mobile blood supply vans for Khowai and Santirbazar district hospitals, and virtually inaugurated several other projects, including:

• A new residential quarter for the Kalyanpur Block Officer (Rs. 55.41 lakh),
• A new concrete school building for Birchandrapur HS School (Rs. 2.18 crore).
He reaffirmed that the government is continuously improving educational infrastructure and working to ensure quality education. Coaching centers for science and English will be opened in all subdivisions for Class XI and XII students, and three new degree colleges will be set up in Ambassa, Kakraban, and Karbook. A Super 100 program will also be launched for tribal students.

The CM also highlighted other ongoing and completed projects, including:
• Synthetic tracks for football, hockey, and athletics at Badharghat Stadium,
• Widening of key national highways (Teliamura-Khowai and Mungiakami-Champaknagar),
• Hostel construction for tribal students in Behalabari and Ramdayalbari, • Inauguration of various school buildings, laboratories, and parking complexes in Khowai,
• Computer-based exam center at Hapania,
• Completion of 3.68 lakh houses under PMAY and 70,000 urban housing units.

The Mukhyamantri Balika Samriddhi Yojana was introduced, offering Rs. 50,000 investments for each girl child from Antyodaya families, which can be withdrawn upon reaching 18 years of age.
Dr. Saha concluded by urging all citizens to contribute towards building a better Tripura through unity, peace, and cooperation. The event saw the presence of MLAs Ranjit Debbarma and Pinaki Das Chowdhury, Zila Parishad Chairperson Aparna Singh Roy (Dutta), Health Secretary Kiran Gitte, DM Rajat Pant, SP Randitya Das, and other senior officials. The program was chaired by Kalyanpur Panchayat Samiti Chairman Soumen Ghosh.
