SHABD, Tamulpur | April 7: Assam: Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma attended the final day of the three-day-long All Bathou Sabha, organized in Tamulpur District of Assam. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister announced a financial allocation of Rs 15 crore for the construction of Bathou Thansalis in Chirang, Goreswar, and Tezpur. Additionally, he declared that Rs 5 lakh each will be provided for the construction of 100 Bathou Thansalis across the state within this year.

The event witnessed the presence of several prominent leaders including Member of Parliament Rwngwra Narzary, Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Chief Executive Member Kati Ram Boro, MLA Jolen Daimary, BTR Executive Member Mantu Boro, and other dignitaries.
The Bathou Sabha was a vibrant celebration of the traditional Bathou faith and cultural heritage, drawing large participation from the local community.
