Kalyanpur Police’s Successful Secret Operation in Tuihaching ADC Village: Nearly 200 Cannabis Plants Destroyed
Tripura 29 Jan, 2025: Last Night, A secret operation conducted by the Kalyanpur police in the Hazari Para area of Tuihaching ADC Village on Tuesday evening led to the destruction of a large number of cannabis plants. The operation was led by Officer-in-Charge Tapas Malakar, accompanied by SI Ranjit Sarkar, SI Anjan Debbarma, ASI Himani Debbarma, other police personnel from the station, and TSR forces.
According to the police, they acted swiftly upon receiving a tip-off and carried out the raid in the evening. During the operation, approximately 200 fully grown cannabis plants were destroyed, with an estimated market value of around three lakh rupees.
Regarding the raid, Officer-in-Charge Tapas Malakar stated, “Upon receiving the information, we took immediate action and successfully conducted the operation. We are always prepared to control illegal activities in the area.”
This success not only demonstrates the efficiency and promptness of the police but also highlights their firm stance against unlawful activities. However, it is still unclear whether any arrests were made during the operation.
