The two-day event, organized by the SCERT, serves as a platform to merge imagination and creativity with practical experiences.
This year’s theme is “Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future,” with seven sub-themes to explore. A total of 40 innovative science models from all eight districts of the state are being showcased by students, offering a glimpse into their inventive ideas and scientific prowess.
In his inaugural speech, Mayor Dipak Majumdar praised the participating students, emphasizing that while not everyone wins prizes, the experience of presenting their creativity to the audience is the true reward. He added that today’s students will shape the future of society, the state, and the nation.
Special Secretary of the Education Department, Raval Hemendra Kumar, highlighted the importance of aligning societal progress with the latest scientific innovations. He stressed the need to advance science and technology as complementary forces for the nation’s development.
Dr. C.V. Simray, Assistant Professor at NCERT, New Delhi, stated that students are the future of the nation and urged them to address societal challenges through innovative thinking. Reflecting on the legacy of the exhibition, he mentioned that last year’s event in Sonipat featured over 200 science models.
