Agartala 14 November, 2024: The state’s Tribal Welfare Minister, Bikash Debbarma, has filed a defamation case against Sudip Roy Barman, Ashish Saha, and others. Minister Bikash Debbarma stated that a defamatory article about him was published in a local newspaper following a press conference held by Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman on September 7.
He believes the allegations made by MLA Sudip Barman and congress President Ashish Saha are completely false, baseless, and intentionally defamatory, which he says has damaged his reputation.
