Belonia 9 November, 2024: Today’s youth are the future of tomorrow. A youth festival plays an essential role in the mental and social development of the younger generation, emphasized Cooperative Minister Sukla charan Noatia during the inauguration of the two-day South Tripura district-level Youth Festival and Science Fair. The event took place at the Belonia Town Hall, where the minister urged the youth to come forward in support of the Tripura government’s vision for a developed state.
The inauguration event was attended by South Tripura Zilla Parishad President Dipak Dutta, Belonia Municipal Council Vice Chairperson Shikha Nath, Chairperson of the Municipal Council’s Education and Cultural Committee Anupam Chakraborty, and District Officer of Youth Affairs and Sports Mihir Seal, among others.
This two-day festival has drawn over 400 participants from various blocks across the district. The youth festival will include competitions across 13 categories, providing a platform for young talents to showcase their skills. Additionally, the district-level science fair will feature 50 models presented by students from 50 schools across South Tripura, fostering a spirit of scientific curiosity and innovation.
