Manughat Hati, Karamcherra AC, 19th October 2024: TIPRA Motha Party members held a massive rally today in Manughat Hati, Karamcherra Assembly Constituency, calling for justice in the case of Badal Tripura, who allegedly died while in police custody under Manu Bazar Police Station.
Hundreds of party workers and supporters participated in the protest, urging swift legal action against the police officers implicated in the incident. TIPRA Motha leaders condemned the custodial death, accusing the authorities of abusing their power and failing to ensure accountability.
The protestors highlighted the increasing incidents of custodial deaths and human rights violations in the state, demanding reforms in police practices. TIPRA Motha vowed to continue the movement until those responsible for Badal Tripura’s death are held accountable and justice is served.
