Agartala, Sept 24: The recently formed State Enforcement Team under the Legal Metrology Department conducted inspections across various ration shops, e-commerce platforms, and commercial establishments in Jirania Subdivision. During the inspections, the team identified several irregularities in different shops.
Legal action has been taken against two ration shops and two other business establishments found violating regulations. This was confirmed in a press release issued by the Controller of the Legal Metrology Department.
The operation reflects the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with legal standards across all sectors in the region.
