The post highlights the commendable actions of Shri Alaknanda Jamatia, the Inspector of Schools for Udaipur Subdivision, who displayed exceptional commitment to his duties in the face of natural calamity.
During the recent floods that swept through several parts of Tripura, water levels had risen alarmingly high, inundating many government offices, including the office of the Inspector of Schools in Udaipur. As water rushed inside the office, threatening to damage vital documents, Shri Alaknanda Jamatia took it upon himself to ensure the safety of crucial records related to students and schools.
With water chest-deep and rising, Shri Jamatia, without any regard for his own safety, waded through the flooded office premises to rescue the documents. His prompt and courageous actions ensured that important files, essential for the administration and future of the students, were safeguarded from destruction. His colleagues were deeply inspired by his selfless efforts, which prevented a significant loss of educational records.
