Telangana 2 September 2024: In a significant act of solidarity, Telangana Governor and former Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura, Jishnu Dev Varma, flagged off a truck loaded with essential relief materials on Sunday to support flood-affected families in Tripura.
The relief effort is sponsored by the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Telangana State Branch, demonstrating a strong commitment to helping those in need.
The truck, which departed from Hyderabad on Sunday, is on its way to Agartala, the capital of Tripura, carrying a variety of essential items, including baby food, clothing, mosquito nets, emergency medicine, and other necessities. These supplies are aimed at providing immediate relief to approximately 1,000 families impacted by the recent floods in the state.
