Agartala, August 9, 2024: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today chaired a high-level review meeting via video conference, aimed at ensuring the successful execution of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” event across the state. The meeting included participation from all MLAs, Ministers, MDCs, and Chairpersons of PSUs.
During the session, CM Saha emphasized the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga program, which is being undertaken to honor the sacrifices of those who have laid down their lives to protect our country. He stated, “We have received clear instructions from the Centre regarding the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative. This event is not just a celebration but a tribute to the supreme sacrifices made by our brave soldiers.”
The Chief Minister also outlined the detailed schedule for the event, which will commence on August 11 and continue through August 14. The program will kick off with a Tiranga Yatra, a rally led by Ministers and MLAs, which has already started in various parts of the state.
The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, part of the broader Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, encourages citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes and public spaces to evoke a sense of patriotism and national pride. CM Saha urged all citizens to actively participate in the program and make it a grand success, further strengthening the unity and integrity of the nation.
