Agartala 5 August, 2024: The Airport Director has officially inaugurated the Aviation Security Culture Week at the Departure Terminal with an insightful discourse on the critical importance of ensuring security at airports and its significant role in the aviation industry. This notable event, held in the presence of the Airport Authority of India (AAI) staff, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel, airline representatives, and other key stakeholders, underscores the collective effort to enhance airport security measures.
Observed from August 5th to 11th, Aviation Security Culture Week promotes the theme, “See it, Say it, Secure it!” This initiative aims to heighten awareness and foster a culture of vigilance and proactive security among all airport users and employees. The event’s message has been effectively communicated through various channels, including passenger trolleys, informative fliers, and engaging selfie points, ensuring wide reach and participation.
The Airport Director emphasized the indispensable role of security in maintaining the safety and efficiency of aviation operations. “In the rapidly evolving landscape of global travel, robust security measures are more crucial than ever.
