On March 12, the headmaster of Budhjung School did not go to the school and found that the two furnaces of the mid-day mill had been raided by a gang of thieves. Later he informed the police station verbally and reported the theft yesterday in writing to East Agartala police station. After that the police investigated and first arrested Sunil Debvarma and interrogated them and recovered two furnaces hidden in Nagerjala.
Subsequently, the names of three others were revealed as involved in the theft: Bijoy Biswas, Gopal Gupta, and Bhanu Debnath. Police recovered a TV from them and on interrogation it was revealed that this TV was stolen from Manda area. East Agartala police station OC Sanjit Sen said they will be sent to court today.
