The upcoming three-day Pilak Tourism Festival is set to commence from January 9th, with the main event organized at the West Pilak High School grounds. In a recent preparatory meeting held in the school auditorium, decisions were made to enhance the festival experience. Discussions included plans to open 20 exhibition pavilions showcasing diverse exhibits from various departments.
The preparatory meeting was chaired by Manibala Das, the Head of West Pilak Panchayat. Notable attendees included Vibhishan Das, Deputy Chairman of South Tripura District Council, Rabi Nama, Chairman of Jolaibari Panchayat Committee, Abhi Nanda Baidya, Local Leader of Shantirbazar Municipality, and Sougat Chakma, a representative from the local police.
