Agartala, November 14: The Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a nationwide initiative aimed at delivering the advantages of diverse government projects and services to citizens, is set to kick off on November 15. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this extensive program on National Pride Day, commencing in Jharkhand. Concurrently, mobile publicity vehicles, equipped with information on government initiatives, will embark on a journey to disseminate awareness. The journey is scheduled to conclude on January 26, 2024.
The state-level launch of the Bharat Sankalp Yatra will commence on November 15 at Agartala’s Rabindra Centenary Bhavan Hall No. 1. This event will also mark the state-wise celebration of Janjatiya Gaurab Diwas (National Tribal Pride Day) and the introduction of Good Governance 2.0 in households. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha will inaugurate the state’s commitment to this yatra, with Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath, Tourism Minister Sushant Chowdhury, and Cooperatives Minister Sukla Charan Noatia as honored guests. Chief Secretary JK Sinha and State Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan will attend as special guests, while Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma will preside over the inauguration ceremony.
The national-level proceedings will be broadcast from Jharkhand during the state-centric program. Furthermore, the state-level event in Agartala will be live-streamed in districts beyond West Tripura. On the same day, mobile publicity vehicles carrying information on government projects and services will be launched from the Rabindra Centenary Building in West Tripura district and Ambasa in Dhalai district.
