July 1, 2023: In an official announcement, the speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly, MLA Bishwa Bandu Sen, confirmed that the eagerly awaited budget session for the fiscal year 2023-24 is set to commence on July 7th. Initially planned as a three-day session, the opposition party’s appeals for an extended duration led the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) to approve a four-day session.
