Agartala, Apr 30: There was a time in the 80s and 90s era when we used to wait to watch Ramayana and Mahabharat while “Mann ki baat” is of similar importance now. It is not only in the Country but wherever Indian people stay they listen to Mann to baat while it was organised in 1515 places in the state as well on Sunday”. The Chief Minister Professor Dr Manik Saha said the same after special screening of 100th episode of Mann ki baat programme was completed in the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan as initiative was taken by Doordarshan Kendra Agartala jointly with AIR, Agartala, PIB and Central Bureau of Communication on Sunday.
He added that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not talked about any political stuff rather the achievements and innovative ideas of different people in different corners of the Country and many other things which are not known to many are discussed in these programme.
He also said that the kind of attachment which he has created with common people through this programme is something special. There are various topics on which the Prime Minister Narendra Modi speak always and there is a process through which all the information are presented through the programme. There are different things which happen in the state but it is not known to people in other state but it is through this programme that people get to know about it and the same goes for other state as well.
The Chief Minister Professor Dr Manik Saha said this kind of innovative idea is the reason that the PM Narendra Modi is considered as a great leader and somewhere other Countries might also try to emulate and organise this kind of programme in future. While talking about G-20 Summit the Chief Minister added that the representatives appreciated the tourist spots across the state. The Governor of Tripura Satyadeo Narain Arya was the Chief guest, Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and many other ministers, media personnels and top officials were present in this programme.
