Agartala 03-03-23: The Tripura Legislative Assembly Election 2023 was not only conducted peacefully but the Vote Counting was also conducted in a peaceful way which will be remembered for years to come.
Although a lot was said but BJP came out in flying colours where they alone won 32 seats while the alliance with IPFT gave another seat which made the total tally 33. However there is one man who made sure that his work does the magic and it was none other than Professor Dr Manik Saha who was the Chief Minister until he gave his resignation on Friday and has also been asked to continue until the new Chief Minister is declared by the party.
It was him who in his tenure of 10 months changed the picture of the state where common people were not happy with some decisions but once he took over as the Chief Minister of the state, there were many great decisions which were taken and that made this victory possible in the end. Hence the common people of the state wants to see him as the Chief Minister of the state again where reactions were heard from common people and it was said it was the last 10 months which worked as ” turning point” for the party in the state where the opposition parties tried to play their dirty tricks as well.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and All India President JP Nadda visited the state not one or twice but many number of times and that also showed what kind of importance was given to ” Tripura” during this election. Narendra Modi has always talked about how important North East is for the Country as he always says if there is no development being done in North East then development has not taken place in the Country and to show evidence of the same there are large number of schemes which has been introduced by him.
Although schemes were present but it was Dr Manik Saha who in his tenure made sure that these schemes are being utilised properly. Hence a programme named ” Har Ghar Sushashon” was introduced so that administrative help can be provided to the common people along with a portal named ” Amar Sarkar” and it was the idea of Professor Dr Manik Saha who did it for the sake of the common people of the state.
One characteristic which has made common people his fan is the calm demeanor which he has shown where he said it many times that the party believes in Peace and hence there was not a single case of rigging was reported. He also every time tried make sure that any problem or issue are solved by a proper meeting or plan. There are various schemes which were chalked out by him and Narendra Modi which includes that a total of 12% DA was given to employees, huge improvement in the law and order of the state, Rs 2000 was given as Social Allowance, 50% hike in salary of the Contractual staffs, TET passed teachers were appointed, salary of Asha, Anganwadi staff, pump operator and helpers were also hiked, wages of different construction workers were hiked from Rs 220 to Rs 340, A project of Rs 10,222 crores were allotted for construction of road by the Central Government, Dental College will be constructed, Science City was inaugurated, First English Medium College and National Forensic Science University will be constructed and not only this he also showed that how keenly wanted development in terms of Sports and Agriculture as well.
He has always said that it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has shown direction and after the win on 2nd March he again said one thing that common people of the state must surely celebrate the win but make sure there is no harm done to any supporter of any party and this shows how much he thinks about the well being of common people of the state. All these are the reason that the common people of the state wants him back in the chair on which he has taken all the decisions and that is none other but the Chair of ” Chief Minister”.
